Information you give us through the contact form

When you submit our contact form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, and your message. That information is emailed to the firm so we can respond to you, and a copy is retained in a submission log so we have a record of your inquiry.

We use it for one purpose: responding to your inquiry and, if you become a client, handling your matter. Please remember that submitting the form does not make you a client and does not create an attorney-client relationship — see our disclaimer — so avoid including confidential details about your case until you have spoken with an attorney.

The chat assistant (Marissa)

This website offers a chat assistant to answer general questions and help you reach the firm. When you use it, your messages are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence service provider in order to generate replies, and chat transcripts may be reviewed by the firm to respond to your inquiry and to improve the assistant.

Do not share sensitive details in chat. The assistant is a convenience for general questions and scheduling — it is not a lawyer, chatting with it does not create an attorney-client relationship, and chat conversations are not privileged. Save the specifics of your situation for a phone call with an attorney.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies (small files stored by your browser) and collects standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser type, and time on site. We use this information only in aggregate, to make the site better.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We do not share your information with third parties except the service providers needed to run this site (such as our email delivery, hosting, and AI chat providers), or where the law requires it.
• We do not use the information you submit for marketing lists you didn't ask for.

How long we keep information

Form submissions and chat transcripts are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, and meet our professional obligations. If you would like information you submitted deleted, contact us and we will accommodate the request where our legal and ethical obligations allow.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submitted information is limited to firm personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, which is one more reason to keep sensitive case details for a direct conversation with an attorney.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information — for example, if we add new tools — we will update this page and its "last updated" date.
