39:4–35 Failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk (2 POINTS)

No operator of a vehicle shall fail to give the right-of-way to a pedestrian at a crosswalk, whether marked or unmarked, where the pedestrian having started to cross with the proper signal finds himself still within the intersection when the signal changes. Amended by L.1981, c. 220, s. 2, eff. July 20, 1981.
